Storyline
Police officer Chase McCain returns to Lego City after spending two years in exile, called back when he learns troubling news from Mayor Gleeson: the notorious criminal Rex Fury, whom Chase once helped put behind bars, has broken out of prison. Determined to set things right, Chase takes up the hunt for the escaped crook, joined by the well-meaning but dim-witted rookie Frank Honey and supported by sharp police technician Ellie Phillips. His homecoming is far from warm, however. His ex-girlfriend Natalia, forced into witness protection after Chase accidentally exposed her identity during Rex's trial, wants nothing to do with him, and the stern new Chief of Police blames him for the whole affair. Undeterred, Chase throws himself into the case, chasing clues across the sprawling city to bring Rex Fury back to justice.
