Summary
Armies clash as the world burns. As an inevitable war draws ever closer, you must stand with Chrom and his forces--knights, mages, archers, and more--commanding them against the armies of kingdoms, empires, and the dead themselves.
Plan your strategery. Move your troops on the battlefield, then choose their weapon and attack. Using the new Pair Up and Dual systems, support your attacks with the help of nearby allies and watch their skills and relationships grow.

Storyline
Long ago, the Fell Dragon Grima sought to destroy the world, until the Divine Dragon Naga granted the ruler of Ylisse the sacred sword Falchion and the magical shield known as the Fire Emblem, allowing him to strike the beast down and send it into a long slumber. Two thousand years later, the land is divided among three nations: the Naga-worshipping Halidom of Ylisse, ruled by the gentle Exalt Emmeryn and defended by her militia the Shepherds; the Grima-worshipping kingdom of Plegia; and the warlike Regna Ferox. Into this uneasy peace stumbles Robin, an amnesiac with a gift for tactics who awakens in an open field with no memory of the past. Found by Emmeryn's brother, Prince Chrom, and welcomed into the Shepherds, Robin is swept into a gathering conflict that threatens the entire continent.
