Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 is a survival horror first-person shooter set in a zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles. Players explore an open world, gathering resources, interacting with survivors, and battling swarms of zombies in fast-paced combat. Set fifteen years after the events of Dead Island: Riptide, the game features a new cast of characters and narrative, while maintaining the series’ signature blend of brutal melee action and immersive environments.

Roughly fifteen years after the original outbreak, a new and far more virulent zombie plague erupts, forcing the US military to seal off the entire city of Los Angeles under a strict quarantine. As the city is locked down, six desperate individuals, later known as Slayers, scramble aboard one of the final evacuation flights out. But when an infected passenger turns mid-flight, the military shoots the plane down over the city. The Slayers narrowly survive the crash, only to be bitten while trying to save other survivors. Making their way to the mansion of actress Emma Jaunt, who reluctantly takes them in despite their infection, the group makes a startling discovery: they are immune to the virus. Now trapped in a zombie-ravaged Los Angeles, the immune Slayers set out to find a way to escape.
